Die EU-Geschäftsstelle der Bezirksregierung Köln ist im Verbund mit anderen europäischen Organisationen Partnerinstitution im vorliegenden Projekt.

Eine der größten Herausforderungen für die Implementierung der nationalen und des europäischen Qualifikationsrahmens (NQR und EQR) ist es, Qualifikationsprofile europaweit nach vergleichbaren Prinzipien den einzelnen Niveaus zuzuordnen, und zwar so, dass Vergleichbarkeit und Transparenz bei unterschiedlich strukturierten Qualifikationsprofilen erreicht wird. Das Hauptziel des Projektes MatchingFrames ist es deshalb, dafür Methoden und Hilfsmittel/Werkzeuge zu entwickeln, die praxistauglich sind und von allen betroffenen Einrichtungen problemlos anwendbar sind.

Die entwickelten Werkzeuge und Methoden werden in leicht zu handhabender Form verfügbar gemacht. Sie sollen sich dafür eignen, in den Mitgliedsstaaten definierte Qualifikationen und „Ordnungsmittel“ auf den jeweiligen nationalen Qualifikationsrahmen (NQR) und den EQF zu beziehen, um sie den einzelnen Niveaus zuordnen zu können.

Die Entwicklungsergebnisse werden in den Partnerländern in Betrieben, in Trainingsinstituten und durch Sozialpartner angewandt und erprobt.

Innerhalb des Projektes werden der Metall- und Elektrosektor als Schwerpunktsektoren Gegenstand aller Arbeiten sein. Der Metallsektor schließt dabei den Automobilsektor ein.

Gleichzeitig geht es darum zu prüfen, in wie weit sich die entwickelten Instrumente eignen, um in andere Sektoren transferiert zu werden.

Die teilnehmenden Partnerorganisationen kommen aus Bulgarien, Frankreich, Italien, Litauen, Österreich, Slowenien und Deutschland.

The EU-Agency, Regional Government of Cologne, together with other European institutions is partner organisation in the present project.

One of the greatest challenges for the implementation of the national and the European Qualification Frameworks (NQF and EQF) is the assignment of qualificational profiles to the individual levels according to comparable principles. This should be envisaged in a way to safeguard comparability and transparency of differently structured qualificational profiles. Therefore the main target of the project MatchingFrames is to develop practical methods and aids/ tools which can be easily applied by the respective institutions.

The developed tools and methods will be made available in a way that they can be easily handled. They should be suitable to assign qualifications and training regulations/curricula defined by the member states to the respective national qualifications framework (NQF) and the EQF and to assign them to the individual levels.

The development results will then be used and tested in the partner countries in companies, in training institutes and by the social partners.

The project work will focus on the metal and electrical sector as core sectors. The metal sector includes the automotive sector.

At the same time the project aims to check if the instruments developed are suitable to be transferred to other sectors.

The participating organisations come from Austria, Bulgaria, France, Italy, Lithuania, Slovenia and Germany.
